We collaborated with Emily Cohen on her first book, a trove of smart and actionable insights into the business of running a creative studio. Brutally Honest is a compendium of Emily’s compelling knowledge, communicated in her style—straightforward, concise, and honest—across 286 bold, brightly-colored pages. As part of the book design, we created a series of illuminating information graphics to accompany her impactful sound bites and quick wins. With our design comps, Emily launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the project. It exceeded her goal: the book launched 140% funded with over 900 copies pre-sold.
