Coined “Brooklyn’s backyard,” the Commons is a vibrant destination for business, education, dining, and year-round public programming in the heart of Downtown Brooklyn. We created a system of wayfinding that considers the site’s multiple access points and orients visitors and community members around the campus and its revitalized public spaces. The signage system greets and directs with delightful and welcoming monoliths and supergraphic directionals. Its warm material palette draws upon Field Operations’ new landscape design and existing post-modern architecture.
