Manaow

Bringing Bankok street food to a casual local dining experience

Brand

We designed an identity for a fast-casual Thai restaurant in Long Beach, California. The brand system, inspired by the restaurant’s namesake and the cuisine’s favorite ingredient, included a logo, exterior blackened steel signage, open/closed sign, business cards, menu, and t-shirts.

Exterior of 'Manaow Thai' restaurant. Metal cut signage showcasing a serif stencil-cut logo appears above the front window. A group of people are sitting outside dining, next to a pair parked bikes. Snake plants line the front.
Bright olive green, white, and off-white menus scattered across the screen. Olive graphics are sprinkled throughout the composition. The menus list various thai dishes such as, betal leaf wraps, panang curry, tom yum shrimp soup, and more.
Olive green cloth bound menu lays on a dark wooden table with dappled light. Brighter green 'manaow' logo is printed on the bottom of the menu.
