Can’t identify as one race? Then you’ve come to the right place. For Americans navigating the complexities of multi-identity life in modern America, it’s easy to feel un(der)-represented in mainstream media. We created a new brand identity and website for the Mash-Up Americans to give voice to those of us who identify as multi-ethnic, multi-religious, multi-anything (i.e. actual Americans). The visuals we created balanced the serious subject matter of their stories (Religion, Family, Race) with a tone and appearance that is bold, refreshing, and humorous, proving that humor and serious talk can live in one place. They’ve seen considerable growth and interest in their business since we worked together, such as their podcast reaching the top of the iTunes charts.
